La Milpa, spanish for Cornfields, is located in the western part of Orange Walk District. It is the third largest site in Belize. It has 24 plazas and 85 major structures

The Great Plaza  is 215,000 square feet (20,000 square meters), one of the largest in all Mayan towns, and it is surrounded by four piramids, and has two ball courts.
